Our most common type of appraisal is the informal appraisal, where you’ll receive a price for a single coin or a collection of coins. This process is quick, and typically, there is no fee if our time investment is less than an hour. For many customers, this type of appraisal is a convenient way to determine the value of their coins, and we ensure you leave with a clear understanding of your items’ worth.

If you need an evaluation of just a few pieces, this is a great option that gives you immediate feedback with no pressure to sell.

For collectors or sellers with larger collections, we offer formal written appraisals. This service applies to extensive coin collections or items that require more than an hour of our time. There is a refundable fee of $70 per hour for formal appraisals, but if we purchase at least half of the appraised value, the fee is refunded.

Formal appraisals can take place at our store or your chosen location—we even make house calls. This ensures you receive a thorough and comprehensive evaluation at your convenience. Rest assured, there is no obligation or pressure to sell, and we encourage our customers to get second opinions.
