Bob has been passionate about coins since 1960, working in coin shops from the age of eleven. From 1980 to 2000, he attended 25 coin shows annually, expanding his expertise and reputation. In 1995, he founded Avenue Coins & Currency in Stockton, running the business solo until 2004. Bob specializes in U.S. coins and paper money, world coins, including ancient coins, and has decades of experience in coin photography and conservation. He also manages Avenue Coin, Inc.’s eBay marketing, bullion positions, accounting, and personnel.

Joel began collecting coins in 1974 and is a highly skilled grading expert with a keen eye for detecting counterfeits. Since joining Avenue Coin, Inc. in 2008, he has been a trusted mentor to clients and a dedicated leader for the team. Joel specializes in U.S. and world collector coins and oversees Avenue Coin, Inc.’s scrap recycling business and wholesale accounts. Known for his patience and professionalism, Joel is also a respected appraiser, providing accurate and fair price quotations. He is truly the “glue” that holds the Avenue Coin, Inc. team together.

Jerry is a seasoned bullion trader and an expert in collectible vintage silver bars. His deep knowledge of rare coins and paper money makes him a valuable asset to Avenue Coin, Inc. He manages Avenue Coin, Inc.’s Instagram specials, wholesale scrap accounts, and wholesale trade operations. With a background in banking and a knack for technology, Jerry ensures that every financial transaction runs smoothly. His enthusiasm, energy, and versatility make him an indispensable part of the team.

Darla is Avenue Coin, Inc.’s diamond-buying expert and scrap specialist. She also manages store supplies, assists burglary victims, and works closely with law enforcement. An accomplished bullion trader, Darla plays a key role in the shop’s thriving wholesale scrap business and is highly competent in evaluating collector coins.
